FirstFold Capital is built and run by Samhita Basavanahalli, who spent over a decade in the United States, undergraduate work in Computational modeling and Data analytics at Virginia Tech, followed by years as a Data Engineer, before returning to India to work in cross-border and institutional finance.

That combination, systems thinking from a data background and hands-on experience across the India–US corridor, is what FirstFold is built to apply to every mandate: relationships that open doors, rigor that gets the details right, and speed that gets deals closed.
